National Primary Care Development Team Falls Collaborative The National Falls Collaborative (NFC) arose from the large number of high quality bids for the Healthy Communities Collaborative Pilot (HCCP). The HCCP had 140 applications for 3 places, which left 137 disappointed teams. The unsuccessful sites were given the option to apply for the National Falls Collaborative, which will be run in the traditional model of a collaborative specifically on reducing falls in older people. 20 sites have been selected. The workshop programme for the collaborative began in November 2002.
