EFSI would like to thank the LLT Trainers. I have gone from knowing literally nothing about Stroke and its effects to now having the knowledge and confidence to deliver an exercise class designed to help people living with Stroke to lead a more active, healthy lifestyle. Thank you very much to yourself and all the team.  It has to be said everyone has been terrific throughout the course - really informative, helpful and motivational.  Glad I stuck in there and completed it, shall let you know how I get on in the future with it all.

I loved the course, and such a privilege  to have you teach on the 1st weekend!  PSI has given me some amazing tools to use in my current over 50’s and Over 65’s classes (especially the over 65’s).  I am hoping that I can enthuse others to gently step out of their comfort zones.

Since qualifying as a PSI in May 2004 I have set up 4 classes working for Selby and York Primary Care Trust. These classes run alongside my job as a community nurse and EXTEND teacher. I am exercising with up to 60 people per week. Reassessments show good results. Balance, leg strength, confidence in walking as well as the socialising opportunity. I have waiting lists for all classes and enough people in one area to start another class.
