Interested in joining the Tutor/Assessor Team?
Thank you for your interest in becoming a tutor or assessor with LLT. We have a full tutor/assessor team at this time, however, for reference, we have the following criteria for someone to join the team.
These criteria are considered with all applicants for a tutoring/assessing position within Later Life Training.
| Essential Criteria | Desirable Criteria |
| Level 2 Chair Based Exercise Qualification | PGCE/Cert Ed/City & Guilds 740 or the Lifelong Learning Qualifications |
| Level 3 Older Person Qualification | D32/33 or A1 or Assessing in the active leisure sector award |
| Level 4 PSI Qualification | Membership of REPs |
| To be actively working towards a teaching qualification if not holding one already | Membership of the Institute for Learning |
| To be actively working towards an assessor award if not holding one already | Current falls/stroke experience |
| Good availability including weekends | Currently teaching classes for the frailer older adult |
| Good communication skills | |
| Frailer older person experience within an exercise setting | Frailer older person experience in the patient or care sector |
