Four weeks prior to the first face to face training day we will send, by post, the course manuals. We will also email you an enrolment key (password) to access the training portal. A minimum of 8 to 12 hours will be required to carry out pre-course work, which include reading manuals, watching PPTs and completing online tasks. LLT tutors will monitor and support completion of these tasks. Timelines for completion will be set and must be adhered to. Please note that completion of all online tasks is mandatory and form part of the assessment requirements. Please check that you are able to meet the requirements of the blended learning approach with regard to access to suitable internet connections and software requirements. The minimum browser version that can be used is: Google Chrome (30+), Mozilla Firefox (25+), Safari 6 and Internet Explorer 9 or 10.

All course days will run from 8:55 am to 5.15pm and best endeavour will be made to close on time. However, with the Venue’s and Candidates’ agreement some short time over-runs may occur.

Further Information
You will receive, by post, your full course resource set which must be brought on all face to face training days. The course resources will consist of a manual on “How To Lead the OEP” written by Later Life Training and an Assessment Manual which contains information for the assessments on Day 3 of the course. A set of OHPs used on the course will also be enclosed.
Please remember to bring a pair of 1kg ankle weights for your use on the course. You will need to bring writing material and paper for any additional note taking and you are advised to wear warm, comfortable exercise clothing and trainers.
