RCP and Healthcare Commission Audit of Services for Fallers 2006. An audit of health services in England for people who fall shows that a quarter of NHS acute Trusts are not part of a coordinated and integrated falls service, despite this being a key milestone of the National
Service Framework for Older People by April 2005. The audit, performed by the Royal College of Physicians for Professor Ian Philp, National Director for Older People and the Healthcare Commission, paints a mixed picture of services for falls and bone health.
