  • Dr Dave Saunders

Dave is an exercise physiologist from the University of Edinburgh. His research centres on the role of exercise and physical fitness during life after stroke. We will announce the winners of the LLT Game Changer Award. To enter yourself for the LLT Game Changer Award, read about the competition and submit your entry to the LLT office by 31st March 2018.

LLT Game Changer awards aim to showcase the achievements of those who inspire older people and stroke survivors to take that extra step towards greater physical and mental health outcomes using their LLT gained knowledge.

Our Gold Award receives £700, our Silver Award £300 and Bronze Awards of LLT t-shirts will be awarded. You do not have to attend the conference to be eligible to receive these awards.

We have kept the cost for attendance the same as last year. The conference places will be allocated on a first come first served basis (120 places in total). The cost covers registration, your conference pack (bag, pen, programme and handouts), a password to the post-conference webpages and a buffet lunch and a buffet dinner at the end of the day before you head home.

We can either accept a card payment or we can send you (an individual attending the conference) an invoice for you to pay by cheque/BACS and then you can reclaim from your funder. After payment has been received you will receive a PAID RECEIPT, which you can then use to claim from your PCT/Council/Employer.

LLT members will receive a 10% discount off the total cost of the conference. If you’re not already a member contact the LLT office to find out about joining and receive this great offer.
