Real Life Implementation of FaME – does it work?
The effects of the FaME exercise programme, delivered by PSI’s, on bone mineral density (measured by DEXA) are positive. This is the first time that research looking at preventing falls through exercise has also documented the changes to bone mineral density, a key risk factor for fractures.
