This training course is blended learning which means a mix of online tasks and face to face training days. On enrolment you will be sent, by post, the course training manuals. These resources must be brought on all face to face training days. You will also receive an email with an enrolment key (password) to access the online training portal. Timelines for completion and guidance for necessary self-directed learning will be provided and your online work is supported by your LLT tutor. The pre-course tasks are essential/mandatory learning prior to attendance of the face to face days and comprise a minimum of 12-14 hours (spanning 4 weeks). The tasks include; watching narrated presentations, reading, learning checks and quizzes. Please check that you are able to meet the requirements of the blended learning approach with regard to access to suitable internet connections and software requirements. The minimum browser version that can be used is: Google Chrome (30+), Mozilla Firefox (25+), Safari 6 and Internet Explorer 9 or 10. Please note, we do not recommend that work is carried out on a tablet or smartphone. LLT tutors will monitor and support completion of these tasks.

Unless instructed otherwise, days 1 to 3 will run from 8:55 am to 5.30 pm. Assessment days will start at 8.55 am and finish times will vary depending on the number of assessments taking place, however please be prepared for a 4 pm finish. Best endeavour will be made to close on time, however with the venue’s and candidates’ agreement some short time over-runs may occur.
