This training course is an intensive learning journey spanning approximately 4 months blended learning which means a mix of online tasks and 4 face to face training days (including assessed elements). It is essential that you have read the full course details and eligibility guidelines before applying for the course.

On enrolment you will be sent, by post, the course training manuals. These resources must be brought on all face to face training days. You will also receive an email with an enrolment key (password) to access the online training portal. Timelines for completion and guidance for necessary self-directed learning will be provided and your online work is supported by your LLT tutor. The pre-course tasks are essential/mandatory learning prior to attendance of the face to face days and comprise a minimum of 12-14 hours (spanning 4 weeks). The tasks include; watching narrated presentations, reading, learning checks and quizzes. Please check that you are able to meet the requirements of the blended learning approach with regard to access to suitable internet connections and software requirements. The minimum browser version that can be used is: Google Chrome (30+), Mozilla Firefox (25+), Safari 6 and Internet Explorer 9 or 10. Please note, we do not recommend that work is carried out on a tablet or smartphone. LLT tutors will monitor and support completion of these tasks.

Unless instructed otherwise, days 1 to 3 will run from 8:55 am to 5.30 pm. Assessment days will start at 8.55 am and finish times will vary depending on the number of assessments taking place, however please be prepared for a 4 pm finish. Best endeavour will be made to close on time, however with the venue’s and candidates’ agreement some short time over-runs may occur.

Please meet in the main reception where you will be directed to the training room
Parking is available at the venue, however car registration numbers MUST be given daily to Kelly Fagan.
There is an onsite cafe from which you can purchase lunch. Alternatively please bring a packed lunch.

You will need to bring writing material and paper for any additional note taking and you are advised to wear warm, comfortable exercise clothing and trainers.

Parking: There is free parking available at the venue.

Refreshments: There are no facilities onsite to purchase lunch, therefore please bring a packed lunch. Alternatively there is a Tesco Extra 5 minute walk away.
