Later Life Training are proud to announce the Otago Home Exercise Programme for Strength and Balance DVD is now available. If you want to provide some structure to your home exercise programme, watch Morag working her way through the exercises. A menu system allows you to work your way through an hour’s home session, or pick specific exercises that have been selected to suit you. Each exercise starts with a reminder for why this particular exercise helps. With an Introduction by Professor Dawn Skelton and a section at the end on safe walking and tips to reduce prolonged sitting, this DVD will help support effective falls prevention. This DVD has been adapted from one that was used in a research study which showed that people who used this DVD at home for 6 months, three times a week, had a significant reduction in falls risk.
